Some may find the following videos pretty boring. But those of us who adore Emory will be amused.

Tubby Time!

Let's just say Emory made a mess today, so in the middle of the day he needed a bath. I guess his bath was a little too relaxing b/c he fell asleep in his tub! After his tubby I put his lotion on & gave him a little massage. You can see from the pictures, he was still feeling nice & relaxed. Yes Emory, I am embarassing you by putting naked pictures online for the world to see. But you are just too damn adorable not to share it! And for the record, I didn't place his legs like that to cover him up, he does that automatically when his diaper comes off. I guess he already knows that Mommy can't resist taking pictures of his cute little naked body :)

Yummy! Yummy!

Emory likes to put whatever he can find in his mouth! Yummy blanket! Yummy leg! Yummy thumb! Yummy hand!

Old McSitko had a farm

Emory went to his first big Sitko family picnic on Sunday. While we were there, we took a walk down to the family farm for his first visit. He liked looking at all the new sights, once we finally got there. Grandpa tried to take us into the farm through the cow fence with the cows. Mommy wasn't too trilled with that idea, so we walked around. We saw the baby pigs, chickens & cows. Emory also spent some quality time with his cousins & (newly named) Ciocci Denise! We know that Emory's great-grandparents, Babci & Dzidziu, were looking down on us on Sunday with big bright smiles b/c we were all together having a blast! Now to get Emory's cousins to refer to him as a "he!" Lol!

Someone is starting to get a tooth...

...and this is the silly face he makes when he sucks on his bottom lip to make himself feel better :)

Happy 3 Month Birthday!

Our baby boy turned 3 months old yesterday. As you can see he was incredibly cooperative for his photo shoot. He was either kicking, slumping or looking at his feet for every picture. He is growing so fast & is a true joy. It has been a pretty exciting month
- Started playing in his Exersaucer
- Has slept through the night (9 pm-ish until 7 am-ish)
- Still has a fascination with his feet
- Celebrated his Baptism
- Takes walk/runs with Mommy at Valley Forge
- Rolled over from his back to his tummy a few times
- Holds toys for a few minutes
- Maybe has started a little teething. The past week or so he has been doing this thing where he sucks on his bottom lip. He also likes to gnaw on whoever's fingers he can get a hold of
- Got VERY strong with his neck muscles. He holds his head up for quite awhile while doing tummy time!
- Enjoys sitting in front of the television & watching Barney, Wow Wow Wubbzy & Sesame Street
- Started giggling
- Is very nosey & loves to be out & about at the park, restaurants, Cam's gymnastics class/scouts
- Still talking & talking
- Still smiling, more so at strangers/Daddy/Cameron...i.e. everyone except Mommy (I lie, I get the biggest smile ever first thing in the morning, but that is sometimes it for the day)
- Became quite a morning person. He wakes up & just coos/talks to himself for awhile before "calling" someone to come get him
1/4 of the way to 1 year old! Mommy has already started teaching him how to say "baby sister." LOL :) Daddy is not so amused!

Emory's Baptism

On Sunday, May 17, 2009 we celebrated Emory's Baptism at St. Ann's Church in Phoenixville
.  We lucked out with beautiful weather & had a wonderful day with our family & friends.  Yet another reminder how blessed we are to be surrounded with so many people who love our little angel.  He was a very good boy & only cried once everything was over.

Emory & his first girlfriend

On Thursday, Emory's first girlfriend (our friend's little girl) Mabel came over to hang out.

Mabel: Hello little dude!
Emory: Mommy, why is someone else in my picture?  I thought you only took pictures of me!
Mabel: Oops, he fell over!  I will help him up!
Emory:  Mommy, please stop taking pictures & help me up!
Mabel:  Goooood baby
Emory:  Mabel, why are you petting me?  I am not Layla.
Mabel & Emory:  Ok, we will both look at you for just one picture.

Do you see the trend?

Ever since day one, Layla has wanted to be by Emory's side whenever possible.  She is so sweet with him.  She loves to give him kisses & is so sweetly gentle with him.   She likes to watch him, as much as he likes to watch her.

I am getting big!

Mommy takes a picture every Friday morning, marking Emory's weekly birthday.  Mommy & Daddy agree that Emory really changed between weeks 7 & 8...and it wasn't just that his tan from Florida faded :)  It is so wonderful to see our baby boy grow & change every week.   I can't say it enough...we are so fortunate to have a happy, healthy little boy!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mommy 1st Mother's Day!
Emory & his silly Cameron
Like father, like son...fixated on the television
Emory & Grancie

Emory had a wonderful mother's day weekend.   Saturday we spent the day with Grancie, Grandpy & Uncle Rich.  Sunday Daddy & Emory woke up early & hung out while Mommy slept in. When Mommy got up, Daddy gave her cards & the ring that he got her.  Then Mommy & Emory went to church & for a long walk with a friend, while Daddy slaved away in the kitchen making Mommy a very special dinner...homemade cole slaw, macaroni salad, deviled eggs & lobster!  When we got home from our walk Emory slept & Mommy planted some flowers outside to make it look nice for Emory's party next weekend.   We had a GREAT weekend!

A day in the life

My first trip to the Phoenixville goat races.  We even got our names in the local newspaper!
Mommy looks so's b/c this was after about 2 hours of Daddy being on Daddy-duty!
Daddy, Mommy & Emory...Mommy can't explain how lucky she feels to have such special men!
Playing in my new exer-saucer.  Daddy thought the living room had been taken over by Emory & then he came home to yet another big toy!

I was just sitting here thinking about how I love our days together.  So I figured I would share what we do.  Our weeks are pretty different depending upon if we have Cam or not, I think if it were Emory's choice, his big brother would get to see him every day.  Yesterday morning Cam came downstairs to go to school & Emory gave him the biggest, most genuine smile.  Cam doesn't even need to speak a word to him & Emory just lights up.  I love that they are brothers. They already share such a special bond.
Every day is pretty much the same, we wake up, either with sweet coo-ing sounds or sometimes abrupt cries.  Then it is breakfast time & off to the YMCA for Emory to see his friends & for Mommy to get a good workout in.  It is nice for both of us.  Mommy gets a little "me-time" everyday & Emory gets to socialize with other babies.  The ladies at the Y love him.  They all want to hold him, but he usually falls asleep & if you know Emory, he does NOT like to fall asleep unless he is by himself.  He was the "baby" for a few weeks, but now he has a few friends who are a few weeks younger than him.
After the Y, we come home & Mommy takes a shower or sometimes Emory gets a tubby while Mommy showers.  Emory also likes to watch Barney & Sesame Street sometimes.  Don't tell the authorities that I let my 10 week old watch tv.
Then it is usually time to eat again, for both of us & then a nap for Emory & sometimes Mommy too!  Our afternoons we usually do tummy time, talk & play in his new exer-saucer.
Once Daddy & Cam get home it is usually nap time again.  After that, Emory is typically awake until bedtime.  Daddy usually gives Emory his bed time bottle.  They get to share some special quiet-time together & both unwind from their busy day!  And not to mention, Mommy gets some uninterrupted quiet time.
Our weekends are similar, but Sunday mornings have become our morning when we all hang out in Mommy & Daddy's bed & sometimes we even sleep in (after Emorys breakfast) until around 9 o'clock!
So, while it doesn't sound too exciting, Mommy loves her days at home with Emory.   Most of our days used to consist of some sort of shopping, but Mommy had to stop that bad habit recently.   Mommy doesn't have to miss a smile or a cry or a coo & I wouldn't trade it for the world....or for Target gift card worth millions :)

I am 10 weeks old!

...And I have a cute belly :)

I rolled over!

Mommy wasn't really expecting it, but I did.  We were just hanging out on Mommy's bed taking my weekly picture & all of a sudden, I rolled over!
